BDS - 4 YEARS + 1 YEAR INTERNSHIP

1. To be eligible for admission to BDS Degree Course, a candidate must have passed in 10+2 / H.Sc (or) its equivalent examination with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology at the Qualifying Examination as mentioned in BDS Course Regulations, 2007 and in addition must have come in the merit list of NEET UG.
2. In respect of the candidate belonging to SC/ ST / OBC category, the marks to be obtained is 40% instead of 50%. In respect of candidates with PWD (Persons with Disblibilites) the minimum marks at 45% for general and 40% for SC / ST / OBC category. In order to become eligible for admission to BDS Degree Course for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile in NEET UG.
3. However, in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category the minimum marks 40th percentile and PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates, the minimum marks 45th Percentile for general category and 40th percentile for SC / ST /OBC category.

Admissions will be made for UG Degree programme through online counseling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi on the basis of Marks obtained in the NEET UG Examinations and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the DCI regulations in accordance with the guidelines and directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India / Government of India / Dental Council of India, New Delhi and VMRF-DU from time to time.
